Obituary for Foutine Frangie (Daoud)
COHOES, NY – Foutine Frangie, 78, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family’s love, on Wednesday, November 30, 2016.
Born in Akar Dahre Elacene, Lebanon, Foutine was the daughter of the late Elias and Hosn Yacoub Makhoul Daoud. She came to the United States in 1987, initially residing in Los Angeles and in 1990 moved to Albany, New York.
Dedicated to the care of her family and her home, Foutine will long be remembered as a loving sister, wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was the wife of the late Sarkis Frangie; loving mother of Nouha El Hosry, Wadih Frangie, Gania Fenianos, Suzi Frangie, Zeina Derjani, Paul Frangie, Pascal Frangie. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 3 sisters, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to visit with the Frangie family on Monday, December 5, 2016 from 4 until 7 PM at the Parker Brothers Memorial, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet, NY.
Interment will take place in Zgharta, Lebanon.
