Obituary for Lisa Ann Reiss (Hogan)

LATHAM – Lisa Ann Reiss, 61 of Latham, died on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her family, following a long illness. She was the devoted wife of Louis E. Reiss.

Born in Troy, Lisa was the daughter of the late William J. and Mary Jane (Wilson) Hogan of North Greenbush. She was a graduate of Averill Park High School and Hudson Valley Community College and was a life-long resident of the Capital District.

Lisa was a self-employed cosmetologist, for many years, and worked from her home. She also worked as a waitress for several area restaurants. Lisa was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Loudonville.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Sara Jane Cominotto (Shawn Canaday) and Josette Rosa (Derrick Rosa) both of Cohoes; three sisters, Laura Therri of Watervliet, Jane O’Donnell of North Greenbush and Annette Bissell of Wyoming; one brother, Lawrence Hogan of Florida and nine grandchildren, Rozlin, Raina, Luciano, Ryan, Taylor, Shamus, Spenser, Derrick, Jr., and Gavin.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday at 1 pm in the Bowen & Parker Brothers Funeral Home, 97 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Friends are invited to attend and may also visit with Lisa’s family at the funeral home on Sunday, before the service, from 11 am until 1 pm. Her interment will be held privately.
