Obituary for Kenneth J. Oravsky Jr.

WATERFORD – Kenneth John Oravsky, Jr., 49, died Friday, November 3, 2017 at his home in Waterford. Born in Troy on September 4, 1968, he is the beloved son of Susan A. Radley Campbell.
Ken was raised and educated in Watervliet and was a 1986 graduate of Watervliet High School and later attended the University at Albany.
He was employed by J&J Carbonic Services in Cohoes for 6 years and later by Continental Airlines, which allowed him to travel. Presently, he was employed by Medical Delivery Services (MDS) in Albany as a courier.
He enjoyed traveling and lived in Italy and Mexico and also visited France and England. He enjoyed music festivals especially the Starwood Music Festival every year in Western New York.
He is the beloved son of Susan Radley Campbell (Michael Speranza) of Watervliet; loving brother of Paul D. (Mary) Oravsky of Green Island, proud uncle of Justin and Paytin Oravsky. He is also survived by two aunts and several cousins.
Relatives and friends may call at the Parker Bros. Memorial, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet on Wednesday from 4-7 pm. A prayer service will be led by Deacon Candace Palumbo at 6 pm on Wednesday during the calling hours. His ashes will be interred on Thursday at 1 pm at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Watervliet.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1 Penny Lane, Latham, NY 12110.
