Obituary for Donna M. Maynard (Ostrander)

COHOES – Donna Marie Ostrander Maynard, 66, died peacefully Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy. Born in Troy on January 1, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Marie Snyder Ostrander.
Donna was raised in Troy and was a graduate of Troy High School. She resided in Cohoes for the past 20 years. She volunteered for the Foster Grandparent Program in Waterford and was a member of the Watervliet Wesleyan Church.
She was the wife of the late Douglas B. Maynard who died in 1992; mother of Robbie (Dawn) Whitebourn of Troy, Greta (Michael White) Maynard of Round Lake and Richard (Naphtali) Maynard of Portland, ME; step-mother of Barbara Ann Crandall, Douglas Maynard, Jr. and Debra Maynard; sister of the late Charles Ostrander. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will occur in the spring in Elmwood Hill Cemetery, Troy. There are no calling hours.
Contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation in memory of Donna M. Maynard.
