Condolence From: Gus Angelas
Condolence: Matt will be missed indeed. Matt was my roommate in Columbus, Ohio in 1968...He was a loyal Buckeye and we had a lot of good times together at Fred's Tavern and so many other North High venues. Prayers and love to Matt's family in this time of their deepest grief. May his memory be eternal Gus & Connie Angelas

Condolence From: Gayle Walther Allen
Condolence: We have lost another "good guy" from the worlds of Reporting, Bowling, and Horse Racing. I was truly saddened when I read of Matt's passing. Matt was a large part of my "bowling life" in Troy and always ready with a quip, a quote, an article, advice, and a horse tip. He found the time to really connect with people. I especially loved our bowling matches: the Stackrow family (Matt bowled on their team) vs. the Troy Bowl family. Being the only female bowler I took a lot of razzing all in good fun. Those were great days! Gayle

Condolence: My sincere condolences to to the family of Matt Graves. We were old softball rivals from our days in the Capital District Night Softball League. Matt was a fine athlete and an even finer gentleman. Our paths crossed many times since those years and always found him with a smile and a friendly greeting. Rest in Peace, my old friend.
