CASTLETON, NY - Blaine C. McCormack, of Castleton, New York, born on March 30, 1950 in Albany, New York to the late Johanna McCormack and the late Alfred McCormack, passed away peacefully in his sleep at age 68 on August 29, 2018 in Galway, New York.

He was a devoted family man, avid hunter, outdoorsman and general Mr. Fixit. Always one to smile and laugh, he enjoyed seeing the world through his grandchildren’s eyes and regaling them with stories of back in his day.

Blaine is survived by his sons, Jason McCormack and Jeremy McCormack; daughter, Jessica Barrett; sister, Chrissy McCormack-Whitbeck; grandchildren, Sarah McCormack, Ashley Barrett, Michaela McCormack, Christian McCormack, and Tyler Barrett; and great-granddaughter, Serenity Jones.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Parker Bros. Memorial, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet, NY on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 6 pm. Friends are invited to attend and may also visit with Blaine’s family, before the service, from 4:30 pm until 6 pm.
