Obituary for William D. Gordon

Watervliet – William Daniel Gordon, 17, of Watervliet, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, November 4, 2018. Born in Niskayuna on June 26, 2001, Will was the youngest son to Joanna DeCarlo and Thomas Gordon. His memory lives on in his older sister, Brittany DeCarlo, his older brother, Paul Gordon, and his best friend, Joseph Stanley. He will always be remembered for his bright smile, contagious laugh, and his outstanding work ethic. He loved car rides, good music, and having long conversations with family and friends. Will loved to work, so much in fact that he started his own business at the age of 10, and was well known for it. Overall, Will was a kind person with a great soul who marched to the beat of his own drum.
A visitation will be held from 4 until 7 PM on Tuesday, November 13 at Parker Bros. Memorial, Watervliet. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, November 14 at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to remember Will in a special way may consider a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675-8517.
