Obituary for Clifford R. Nichols, Jr.

Bradenton, Florida - Clifford R. Nichols, Jr. departed this life on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at the age of 96.

Born in Norwalk, Connecticut on Saturday, December 31, 1921, he was the son of the late Clifford, Sr. and Ada Verllie Nichols.

He resided in Brattleboro, Vermont and had been a resident of Albany, New York since 1958. While a resident of Brattlboro he was a communicant of St. Michael's Church.

He served his country honorably in the Army Air Force during World War II in Europe and was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, American Theater Campaign Ribbon and European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Ribbon.

Mr. Nichols was a service advisor for 20 years for the former Wendell Cadillac Car Dealership in Schenectady.

He was the dear husband of the late Concetta Germania Zuverino Nicholas who died in 2012.

He was the father of two daughters.

A graveside service with military honors will take place on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 12 noon in the Gerald B.H. Solomon-Saratoga National Cemetery.

There are no other services or visiting hours planned as per the personal wishes and instructions of Mr. Nichols.
