BRUNSWICK – Margaret Ann Kehn Mendro, 86, died peacefully Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy. Born in Troy on April 21, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Driscoll Kehn.
She was a graduate of St. Lawrence Grammar School and Catholic Central High School both in Troy. She was employed by the New York Telephone Company in Menands as a secretary in the Revenue Accounting Department for many years before retiring.
She was a resident of Snyders Lake for 19 years before moving to Brunswick 40 years ago. Most recently Margie Ann was a resident at Pine Valley Home in West Hoosick where she was lovingly cared for by Molly.
She was a member of the Home Bureau in Snyders Lake and Brunswick and enjoyed sewing and crafts.
She is the beloved wife of 65 years of Thomas J. Mendro; sister in law of Carol Crall of Clifton Park and the late Patricia Smith; cousin of Margaret McNamara and family of Loudonville. She is also survived by several Kehn cousins.
The funeral will be Saturday at 9:15 am from the Parker Bros. Memorial, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet and at 10:00 am at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 25th Street & 7th Avenue, Watervliet where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4-6 pm.
