Condolence: Danny to say I’m going to miss you is an understatement. I thank God that he brought you into my life back in 1977. I will always remember the many hours both day and night that we worked together. But there will always be one thought that will supersede all the others. It was the night sitting in your garage watching the Yankee game when you said why don’t you leave 55 Elk and come to Senate Revision with me. That move thanks to you was the frosting on the cake of my career in LBDC. As like yourself I to retired as the Director of Senate Revision following in your footsteps. Thanks my brother..
Condolence: Danny you left us all too soon. I was privileged and honored to have your friendship for the past 45 years. We worked together for 28 of those years at the Bill Drafting Commission. Danny, you and your incredible band of brothers at 55 Elk were the rock solid foundation for all the good work the Commission produced for all those years. Despite the incredibly long hours of day, night and early morning work you and your staff produced your work ethic was always superb. Survival at the Commission during the stress of the legislative session required amazing teamwork, an esprit de Corps that you helped immeasurably to lead. Deep and the truest of friendships were forged under those trying conditions— all pulled together for a common purpose- and you had the greatest group of friends with the gift of humor shared by all. I admired your intelligence, loyalty to your employees and your quick wit. You always gave it your true best as did the employees who followed your lead. Danny, I will miss you dearly. As I look at your smiling face with the Yankee hat you wore so proudly, I will be thinking of you in each Yankee- Sox game this week at the Stadium. As a die hard Sox fan I have suffered Yankee sweeps of my team as so have you. But for this weekend, Danny, despite a pennant race so tight, this lifelong Red Sox fan will find joy should the Yanks take all 3 in honor of your homecoming to Heaven. Watch over us old friend
