Obituary for Louise Iannone (Ausiello)

WATERVLIET - Louise Iannone passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, July 15, 2018.
Born to Frank and Raffaella Ausiello on July 21, 1929 in Brooklyn New York. Louise left Brooklyn in 1948 with her loving husband of 70 years Frank Iannone and moved to Cohoes.
In 1959 she moved to Watervliet and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel church where she became an active member of the Lady’s Guild. Some of her hobbies included dancing, bocce, and going on trips to the casino for bingo. She also enjoyed playing poker and pinochle with her friends and family. Louise loved to entertain and always made sure there was food and drinks for anyone who came to her house.
Louise’s life revolved around her 8 children, 24 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and also many nieces and nephews. She is survived by her husband as well as her brother, Frank Ausiello and predeceased by siblings: Joe Farina, Ralph Ausiello, Sophie Rago, Mary Rago, and Alphonse Ausiello.
She is also survived by her 8 children: Rosemary Kvinlaug, Victoria Sawyer, Raeann Mokey (Joe), Frank Iannone (Diane), Sandra Iannone, Victor Iannone (Yvonne), Louis Iannone (Colleen), James Iannone (Eileen).
The family would also like to extend their gratitude to Albany County Hospice specifically, Marsha, Sandy, and Wendy for all of their excellent care.
There will be no viewing hours as per Louise’s request. Louise has decided to donate her body to the Albany Medical College Anatomical Gift Program.
We will have a memorial mass at St. Anthony’s Church in Troy on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. The family will be available at the church between 9:00 and 10:00 for all those who wish to come early and pay their respects and celebrate the life of Louise Iannone.
