Condolence From: Christine Richardson
Condolence: Pete was a wonderful family friend. I always looked forward to the conversations that we had when he would come up to our camp in Saratoga with my father. He was so proud of his children. Most of all, I thank Pete for taking care of my father. He was my father's "legs." Pete wheeled my father around in his wheel chair and he was able to get to places that he would have otherwise not had access. In fact, on the day he was taken from us, he was supposed to take my father to an appointment. Peace to his family and those close to him. God bless you Pete. We will meet again in paradise.

Condolence: Peter was unselfishly there for me for at least 35 years, and was perhaps one of the wisest, most trustworthy, and sincere people I had ever known. There are hundreds of stories I'll remember always, but mostly remember that ever present smile, penetrating sense of humor and boundless enthusiasm for all the things and people that he loved - the most prevalent being the love so often bearing upon his children and beautiful grandchildren. I always went to Peter when I needed real wisdom - or support, and he never let me down. Shortly before he died he sent me this - declaring: "I love this man's music. He is Conducting amazing Concert & Choir." Peter Karabin

Condolence: Super nice guy! Always with a smile on his face and a joke to tell. We sat together at the 50th reunion and I remember thinking to myself: "Pete hasn't changed." He was smiling, joking and animated as ever; he will be missed. My condolences to his family and friends.

Condolence: Pete, the troubles of the world are over, you left us suddenly, entered the place of the great unknown, where we all will join one day. A place, where peace prevails, and the wing of eternity gently, your forehead, touches.

Condolence: Sincere condolences to all Karabins on Peter’s passing. What a solid guy. Whether I bumped into him weekly as a Capitol policeman, or every few years in the 21st century, I always felt I was meeting a friend.

Condolence: Please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of Peter.
I have know Peter since 1st grade in St. Nicholas School. We traveled cross country together back in 1969. He was a free spirit that will certainly be missed.
