Obituary for Jeanne Marie Jasiewicz (Roy)
Troy- Jeanne Marie Jasiewicz, 65, passed away peacefully at home on June 5, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Troy on December 10, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Ila Roy.
Jeanne grew up in Snyder’s Lake and was a 1972 graduate of Averill Park High School. She received her degree in Liberal Arts/Human and Social Science from HVCC. She was a hard worker who worked for many years as a transcriptionist and also had her own housekeeping business. When not at work, Jeanne loved to be outside. She enjoyed gardening, doing yard work, mowing her lawn, and taking trips to the beach. She was a crafty, resourceful woman who couldn’t be stopped from doing the things she loved.
Jeanne leaves behind her 3 daughters; Jennifer (Chris Perrotti) Clement of Nassau, Renee (Toby) DePuy of Wallkill, and Danica (Josh Ladd) Clement of Rensselaer, her grandchildren; Stephanie (Evan Quinn) Clement, Olivia Lombardi, Zoe Perrotti, Carmen Perrotti, Tyler DePuy, and Hunter DePuy, her siblings; Denise (John Tufano) Roy and Robert (Linda) Roy, Jr., as well as by many dear nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, the late David Roy. Jeanne’s family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to her neighbors for always being there for her with whatever she needed. Your kindness will not soon be forgotten.
