Obituary for John A. LaBombard
Latham – John A. LaBombard, Sr., 83, passed away peacefully on Friday February 26, 2021 at Riverside Nursing and Rehabilitiation. Born in Albany, he is the son of the late Thomas and Mary (Leonard) LaBombard.
John was a graduate of Siena College and The State University at Albany. He worked as a teacher at Waterford High School and would later go on to retire from The New York State Department of Education as a counselor.
John is survived by his son, John A. LaBombard, Jr.; his daughter, Nancy Jean (Steven) Marsh; his grandson, Dennis Marsh; his former wife, Nancy LaBombard; and his sister, Joan (Karim) Rimawi. John was predeceased by his siblings, Patricia Watson, Marie Copcza, Thomas LaBombard and Michael LaBombard.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for John on Wednesday March 3rd at 9:30 a.m. at St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Rd., Latham. Relatives and friends are invited to call prior to mass from 8:00 – 9:00 am at the Bowen and Parker Bros. Funeral Home, 97 Old Loudon Rd., Latham.
