WATERVLIET – Todd Jeffrey Bruce, 51, died peacefully at his home on Monday, April 12, 2021 after a brief illness. He was born in Troy on May 27, 1969, the beloved son of the late Roland “Ron” A. and Maria Bonomo Bruce.

Todd was a graduate of Sacred Heart of Mary School and Watervliet High School class of 1987 where he was a hardnosed lineman for the Watervliet Cannoneers football team.

Todd was employed as a painter and dry wall installer in the construction and fire restoration industry for Dion Darmetko Painting and Professional Fire Restoration.

He was an avid New York Yankees baseball fan and New York Giants football fan. Todd enjoyed playing golf with his family and friends.

He was the brother of Mark A. (Sandra) Bruce of Elizabethtown, PA, Scott (Andrea) Bruce of Saratoga Springs and the late Dean Bruce. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many dear lifelong friends.

The funeral service will be private for his immediate family but may be viewed live on the Parker Bros. Memorial Facebook page on Thursday at 11:00 am. He will be buried following the service in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Troy alongside his parents and his brother Dean.
