Obituary for Carol Christine Buckley
Troy – Carol Christine “Chris” Buckley, 78, passed away peacefully on Friday April 1, 2022 at Samaritan Hospital with her loving family by her side. Born on September 17, 1943 she is the daughter of the late Harry and Dorothy (Sittler) Webb. Chris was the wife of the late Gerald E. Buckley who passed away in 2007.
Chris worked for The New York State Department of Transportation in Albany for nearly 50 years until her retirement. She had a love for flying, especially with her father who was a licensed pilot instructor. Chris enjoyed camping, NASCAR, playing the slots and Bingo on her casino trips and shopping on QVC..
Chris is survived by her son, Angelo R. (Terry) Magnotta; step-daughters, Debbie (Jerry) Lozo and Eileen (Bill) Bradt; her siblings, Douglas (Jennie) Webb, Nancy Webb and Virginia Jahrmarkt; her grandson, Angelo Magnotta; her first husband, Sal Magnotta and several step-grandchildren. Chris was predeceased by her beloved son, Robert “Robbie” Magnotta; and sister, Barbara Webb Vinch

Calling hours for Chris will be held on Tuesday April 5th from 5:00- 7:00 pm at The Parker Bros. Memorial Funeral Home, 2013 Broadway in Watervliet. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday April 6th at 10:00 am. Burial will follow beside her husband Gerald at Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville.
