Obituary for Craig H. "Dred" Scott
WATERVLIET – Craig “Dred” H. Scott, 65, passed away on June 20, 2022 at St. Peter’s Hospital.
Craig was the son of the late Edgar H. Scott; he is survived by his mother, Beverly Ball Scott; his brother Douglas (Patti), nephews, Kyle (Kiersten) and Evan (Victoria); grandnephew Edgar and grandnieces Eleanor and Lilah.
He grew up in Menands and graduated from Watervliet High School, class of 1975. He was currently employed by the Audio-Video Corporation in Menands and we thank them for their understanding and compassion.
A very special thank you to his longtime friend, Scott Ziegler and his wife Janet.
Craig would have liked all to acknowledge the healing powers of friendship, nature and pets.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, NY 12204.
