Obituary for Jaimison Ryan "Jaimo" Hall

NORTH COLONIE – Jaimison Ryan Hall, age 10, our “Jaimo”, went to his forever home on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Albany Medical Center surrounded by family and loved ones and then donated his precious organs so other children may live with the same zest for life that Jaimo did. His willingness to give has always been an amazing sight to see.

He was born at Albany Medical Center on February 13, 2013, the beloved son of Ryan G. Hall of Rensselaer and Tricia M. Moscatiello of North Colonie. He was a 4th grade student at Southgate Elementary School in North Colonie where he loved to be surrounded by friends and staff who filled his life with joy.

Jaimo loved his tablet and started his day with FaceTimes to his favorite people to wish them a good day. Lining up his matchbox cars to connect them from room to room was his favorite albeit painful (for the feet) past time. Jaimo loved the presence of others so much that he’d like the room with his stuffed animals (friends) so he’d never be alone. He was the life of the party and was always ready to plan the next one. He loved going to Siena Saints basketball games with Papa Chuck and his uncles and more importantly watching his sister and her teammates play. He had a magical presence and instantly bonded with everyone he met starting with a big hug and ending it by saying “I love you”. Jaimo didn’t care how well he knew you, if you were kind to him he loved you until the end.

In addition to his loving parents, he is the twin brother of Jaxon Carter Hall and loving brother to Jeremy and Jayla. He is the paternal grandson of Chuck (Jane) Hall of Rensselaer and the late Kelly Lynch (Richard) Brennan; maternal grandson of Nicholas Moscatiello of North Colonie and Rita (late Bobby) DeChiaro of Watervliet; paternal great grandson of the late Geraldine “Deanie” Lynch; maternal great grandson of the late Peter “Papa” Moscatiello. Jaimo is also survived by dozens of aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly.

Relatives and friends may call at the Parker Bros. Memorial, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet on Thursday from 4-7 pm followed by the funeral service at 7 pm. A private special viewing will be held from 3-4 pm for Jaimo’s classmates, their families, teachers and staff of Southgate, and the North Colonie School District.

In lieu of flowers, the family strongly suggests that everyone make a contribution to “Jaimoland”, reference Jaimoland for in person or mailed donations c/o Broadview Federal Credit Union, 935 Loudon Road, Latham, NY 12110, to help fund and provide equipment for special needs children and their classrooms.
Venmo is also available @Jaimoland.
